Dhwani Rural Information Systems is a social/development sector-focused advisory and consulting firm that develops IT applications for NGOs, government functionaries, CSRs, and international funding organizations to manage their projects and programs in India and abroad. We are seeking a Product Analyst, who will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research to arrive at insights and required to design Frappe/Moodle-based solutions that address business needs. You will also be responsible for creating notes, decks, databases, and Excel sheets to ensure the efficient delivery of quality client-facing products, and for documenting learnings to create reusable knowledge from the project.
Job Overview:
As a Product Analyst (Frappe/Moodle), you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze existing processes, and design effective solutions using the Frappe/Moodle platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that Frappe/Moodle applications meet the specific requirements of our clients and contribute to their overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Gathering:
- Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for new features, enhancements, and integrations within the Frappe/Moodle environments.
Solution Design and Documentation:
- Collaborate with technical teams to design Frappe/Moodle-based solutions that address business needs.
- Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases.
- Create process flow diagrams and data models to visualize solution architecture.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Customization & Implementation:
- Assist in the customization of Frappe and Moodle to meet specific business requirements, ensuring that all modifications align with best practices.
- Oversee the implementation of new features, ensuring that they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Data Analysis:
- Analyse existing data and user feedback to identify trends, patterns, insights, and areas of improvement.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
Testing and Validation:
- Develop test cases and participate in testing activities to ensure that Frappe/Moodle applications meet quality standards.
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of data.
- Identify and document any issues, working with developers to resolve them promptly.
User Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users, helping them understand and utilize new product features.
- Gather feedback from users to continually improve the product experience.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in using Frappe/Moodle or similar low-code/no-code and open-source platforms.
- Experience with ERP systems or CRM platforms, LMS configurations, and plugin integrations.
- Strong understanding of business processes and analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools).
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of Agile product development methodologies is a plus.
